Everyone is a little bit strange

(me included).

So here’s the thing… I like old stuff, creepy stuff and weird stuff. When I grow up I want to be a witch or a cat-lady (or both), and spend my time cooking, gardening and pondering. If I ever grow an edible vegetable in my yard, then, my friend, it will be a very good day.

Now you might be wondering what somebody like me is doing in a place like this. My answer is very simple: I’m fascinated by the human connection and what makes it unique.

Since starting my business in 2009 and photographing hundreds of couples choosing each other as their partner in life, one thing has become very clear and that is: To me, it’s the strange stuff that makes us who we are and a relationship what it is. The little idiosyncracies keep it interesting.

It’s the strangeness that I find beautiful.

That’s what I photograph.
